现代EP成立于1988年,当时是HDC集团的石化部门,1991年与Solvay Engineered Polymer公司签订了技术转让合同,重点开发先进技术,并于1994年在唐津建立了复合工厂,开始开发和生产汽车保险杠和内饰材料。 2000年1月该部门从HDC分离后,现代工程塑料成立,致力于开拓独立市场。 现代EP自2000年成立以来,以年均25%的增长率快速发展。
